Details are vague into the circumstances surrounding a Monday evening shooting in the Garden community in northern Covington County.

Investigator Wesley Snodgrass said Tuesday that a call came into Butler County, which was transferred to Covington County once it was determined the address was inside the county.

“We responded,” he said. “And we are actively working it. An individual was shot, and he is still under doctors’ care.”

Snodgrass could not comment on the specifics of the case, as the investigation is ongoing, and would not comment on where the victim was shot.

“We have interviewed parties, and there are no outstanding warrants at this time,” he said.
