ANNETTE BUSH TUNNELL

Annette Bush Tunnell, 65, a resident of Georgiana, passed away Mon., June 2, 2014. Funeral services were held Thurs., June 5, at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Rex Tolbert officiating. Burial followed in Bethel Church Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home directing arrangements.

Tunnell is survived by her husband, Shep Pierce of Georgiana; daughter, Leigh (Sean) Batchelor of Mobile; mother, Lucile Bush of Georgiana; sister, Margaret (Lester) Faulk of Mobile; brothers, Rogene Bush and Winton (Kaye) Bush, both of McKenzie; granddaughter, Bayleigh Batchelor of Mobile; and grandson, Bennett Batchelor of Mobile.

ROY M. EVERAGE

Roy M. Everage, of Brantley, formerly of Andalusia, left to be with the Lord Tues., June 3, 2014.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Yancey Marion Everage and Mollie Mae Brunson Everage,  and his sister, Rea Everage (Lyman) Weaver.

Funeral services will be today, Sat., June 7, at 11 a.m. from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gene Gillis and the Rev. Keith Price officiating. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held today at 9:30 a.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

Everage is survived by his wife, Margaret Jean Blow Everage of Luverne; daughters, Pam (Robert) Grant of Birmingham, Becky (Bill) McPherson and Gail (Larry) Eardley of Mobile; sisters, Dorothy Everage Gillis, Emma Jean Everage Self and Patsy Everage Hargrove; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and was especially loved by his nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

He loved his family, friends, spending time outdoors, visiting and helping others. He was a true man of faith, who has now gone to be with the Lord.

A special appreciation is extended to the members of the First Assembly of God Church in Luverne, who have given great support and love to him during his life. Everage’s family would also like to thank a dear friend, Opal Peek, for the support and care she’s shown him through the years.
