Andalusia City Schools is pursuing funding to provide an after school program beginning in 2015.

The board on Monday granted administrators permission to apply for a 21st Century Learning Grant. If the grant is funded, the system, in coordination with the City of Andalusia, will offer an after-school program on the current Andalusia Middle School campus, beginning in January.

The program will be open to K-8 students.
