David Darby, R.Ph. of Andalusia, was installed as a member of the board of directors when the Alabama Pharmacy Association (APA) held its 133rd Annual Convention and Trade Show at the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort in Point Clear, Ala., on June 8-11.

Darby and his wife, Laura Darby, own Darby’s Village Pharmacy and Darby’s Medical Center. He represents District 12 on the APA board.

Rebecca Sorrell, R.Ph. of Pelham, was installed as president, and Johnny Brooklere, R.Ph. of Adamsville, was named vice president/president-elect.

The Alabama Pharmacy Association is a nonprofit professional organization with more than 2,300 members statewide.
