THOMAS SHAUN JOSEPH MORGAN

Thomas Shaun Joseph Morgan, 34, of Andalusia, passed away Wed., June 25, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held today, Sat. June 28, at 3 p.m. from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be today at 1 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

Morgan is survived by his wife, Caitlin Morgan; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John T. Bass Jr. of Andalusia; his paternal grandfather, John T. Bass Sr.; in-laws, Cindy and Tony Cross, of Andalusia and Tom Rider of Andalusia; his brothers-in-law, Gray (Jennifer) Rider, Micah Rider, Lane Rider, Luke Rider and Noah Rider; nieces, Emily and Rachel Rider; nephew, Justin Rider; his aunt and uncle, Sandra Delilah and Art Smith, of Montgomery.

He is preceded in death by his brother, John David Morgan.

Pallbearers will be Brian Bayley, Jeremy Warren, Jessica Jordan and Timothy Wade.

Flowers may be sent or memorials may be made to Pilots for Christ or Cancer Freeze.

LYDIA LEARD WEST
Lydia Leard West, 75, of Caledonia, Miss., passed away Wed., June 25, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT in Columbus, Miss.

Visitation will be held Sun., June 29, from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Miss. A private family graveside will follow at Waynesboro Cemetery.

West was born Aug. 31, 1938, to the late Howard and Lillian Lucille Taylor Leard in Waynesboro. She moved to Lowndes County four years ago from Wayne County, Miss. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and WMU; member of the Daughters of American Revolution; Republican Women of Wayne Co.; and volunteered many hours at Wayn County Public Library. West loved to garden and was an avid reader and a world traveler.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband-Robert “Bob” T. West.

West is survived by her children, Randy (Roger Cole) Cole of Mobile, Kelly (Jim) Cross of Caledonia, Tracey (Lee) Cagle of Andalusia and Michael Myrick of Red Level; sister, Joy Stinson of Clara, Miss.; brother, Junior ( Faye) Leard of Bessemer; grandchildren, Joshua Keenam, Zachary Keenam, Michael Myrick, Taylor Myrick, James Myrick, Chandler Cagle, Cristen Cagle, Lydia Cross and Ethan Cross; and four great grandchildren.
