A three-car accident at Danley Cross Roads, six miles West of Elba, Monday afternoon at approximately 4:41, resulted in multiple injuries.
Two of the injured were airlifted to Dothan hospitals and a number of others were taken to the Opp hospital by several rescue squads. Elba, Opp and Enterprise rescue squads responded to the emergency, as did the Alabama State Troopers, Coffee County Sheriff¹s Department, Elba Police Department and Elba Fire Department.

The East-West traffic has flashing stop signs and the Ala 141 raffic has a caution light.
