The Andalusia Board of Education Monday completed its personnel actions for the 2014-15 school year, which begins today for teachers.

The board accepted the resignations of:

• Deral Kervin, bus driver;

• Kay Harper, AMS media specialist.

The board hired:

• Lesley Thorn, media specialist at Andalusia Junior High School.

• Lori Griffin, AES kindergarten teacher

• Andrew Johnson, bus driver.

Superintendent Ted Watson said ACS will begin the year with 23 new hires.
