Brooks Hardware is open for business.

After being closed for about 10 days, Nick Crowson, the owner of the business, said the business is back open and ready to serve the community.

“We thought we had a buyer to sell the business,” he said. “But it fell through. So, we are back in business.”

Crowson said the store is open during its normal 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., hours, and is open Monday through Saturday.

“Right now all of our merchandise is 30 percent off,” he said. “We’re looking at re-merchandising.”

Merchandise ranges from hardware-related materials to game-day gear to children’s toys.

The Brooks family has been in the hardware business for more than 100 years, and the store has had several locations across town.

The current business is located right off of the Court Square on South Three Notch.
