Members of the River Falls Fire Department are reaching out to help their fellow firefighter, who has been battling medical issues.
“Jesse Jones has been in and out of the hospital for medical issues,” the release said. “Jesse has been the definition of a volunteer. He will go out of his way to help a fellow person.”
According to Jones’ mother, Francine, he has been battling pancreatitis.
All donations will be given to the family to help pay for bills.
Jones does not have insurance, and officials said with him being out of work, the bills have been stacking up.
“Let’s try to help our brother firefighter in a time of need,” the release said.
Members have set up a gofundme account for Jones.
