Evans, Peek plan spring wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Joey Evans of Florala are thrilled to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Emily Evans, to Mr. Xalyn Peek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Terry of Decatur.
Emily was born and reared in Florala, and graduated from Florala High School in 2008. After graduation, Emily attended Troy University where she met Xalyn. While at Troy University, Emily was a cheerleader, a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, and was crowned as the Troy University Homecoming Queen in 2011. She is currently in her third year of pharmacy school at the Harrison School of Pharmacy at Auburn University where she will graduate as a Doctor of Pharmacy in May 2016.
Xalyn was born in Cedartown, Ga., and reared in Decatur. After graduating from Austin High School in 2008, he attended Troy University where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and was employed by the Dean of Students. Xalyn graduated from Troy University with a bachelor’s of science (Environmental Science) degree. He is currently employed as a project manager of Enersolve, an environmental consultant firm, in Decatur.
The wedding is planned for May 30, 2015, at the Fountainview Mansion in Auburn.
