Weigh-in for Fletcher’s Outdoors fishing tournament is set for 11 a.m. this Sat., Aug. 23.

The event is part of grand opening activities for Fletcher’s Outdoors. Owner M. Anthony King said neither the species of fish, nor where it is caught matters.

“The prizes are based on the largest fish, by weight,” he said. “The winner in each class will receive a $250 Fletcher’s store credit.”

The first class is for participants 15 years and younger; the second for ages 16 and older.

Fletcher’s Outdoors is located at 13759 Brooklyn Road.
