Retirement will have to wait another year for Terry Holley.

He was named superintendent of Crenshaw County Schools through June 2015.

“It’s an honor to be here in Crenshaw County,” he said.

Holley said he agreed to work with Crenshaw County to continue the district’s work forming new programs like the technical schools that have started this semester.

He has 36 years of professional experience, including three stints as principals and four years as superintendent of Covington County Schools in Andalusia.

He retired from the position in 2013, but agreed to come to Crenshaw County on an interim basis.
