Larry Graves Bulger

Mr. Larry Graves Bulger, 77, of Florala, passed away Fri., Sept. 5, 2014, in a Crestview, Fla., hospital.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tues., Sept. 9, from Red Oak Baptist Church with Pastor John Bryan officiating.

Interment will follow in Red Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be Mon., Sept. 8.

Survivors include his son, Michael D. Bulger of Andalusia; daughter and son-in-law, Belinda E. and Robert Bailey of Crestview; grandsons, Dominic (Julia) Bailey and Jamie Bailey, both of Crestview; one great-grandson, Keilan Bailey; two special children he reared, Brandon (Polena) Sullivan and their daughter, Polena, of Baltimore, Md., and Thomas Sullivan of Crestview; brothers, Thomas J. Bulger and Gordon Bulger, both of Andalusia; sister, Loretta Turner of Lowndesboro; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Ernestine McCloud of Florala.

Jackie C. Mott Sr.

Mr. Jackie C. Mott Sr., 84, and the owner of Mott Sign Corp., passed away at his home in Valparaiso, Fla., on Thurs., Sept. 4, 2014.

He was born on March 14, 1930 in Montgomery to Hosea and Ella Mae Mott.

Mr. Mott was a War Eagle fan and graduated from Auburn University.

He was a musician and enjoyed playing his fiddle. He also enjoyed being with his grandchildren.

Mr. Mott is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elaine Mott of Red Level; two sons, Jackie Mott Jr. and wife Deniese; Larry Mott and his wife Kim; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 4 p.m. on Sat., Sept. 6, at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home, with funeral services to begin at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Luke Armstrong officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., on Sun., Sept. 7, at Mott Church of Christ Cemetery in Red Level.

NELSON HEATH BUSH

Mr. Nelson Heath Bush, 37, of Andalusia, passed away Wed., Sept. 3, 2014, in Birmingham.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sun., Sept. 7, from the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eugene Meadows officiating.

Interment will follow in Oakey Ridge Baptist Church Cemetary. Visitation will be one-hour prior to services.

Survivors include his mother, Cathy Henley; maternal grandmother, Myrene Henley; and uncle, Rickey Henley.

ERMA NELL FINKLEY

Mrs. Erma Nell Finkley, 86, of Dozier, passed away Wed., Sept. 3, 2014, at Andalusia Manor.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Sat., Sept. 6, in the Goodhope Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include a son, Charles (Rosalie) Finkley of Dozier; and grandchildren, Michael Finkley, Marinel Finkley and Debbie Nicoll.

Finkley was preceded in death by her husband Orester Finkley.

 

GUY ALLEN BOLLING

Mr. Guy Allen Bolling, 50, of Andalusia, passed away on Wed., Sept. 3, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Sat., Sept. 6, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Derwood Cleland officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include sons, Jacob Bolling and Christopher John Bolling; daughter ,Savannah Bolling, all of Andalusia; brothers, John Walker, Tommy Bolling; sisters, Mary Davis, Janice Kelley and Joann McAdams.

Mr. Bolling is preceded in death by his parents, Hattie and Johnny Jr. Bolling; brothers, Larry Sanford Bolling, Eddie “Duney” Bolling Jr., Gathrol Ray Bolling; and sister, Annie M. Kelley.
