Linda Smithart and the late Lenard Smithart of Andalusia announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Leslie Ann Smithart of Andalusia, to William Harold Jernigan of Andalusia, son of Roger and Zondra Jernigan of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Laval and Louise Riley of Andalusia and Cleve and Glayds Smithart of Andalusia.

She graduated from Pleasant Home School and is employed with One Main Financial.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Harold and Pearl Butler of Andalusia and the late William (Abb) Jernigan of Industry and the late Mildred Williamson.

He graduated from Andalusia High School and is employed with Pacific Drilling.

The wedding is scheduled for 6 p.m., on Oct. 11, 2014, at Springdale.
