Andalusia native Nico Johnson wasn’t promoted to the 53-man roster after the Kansas City Chiefs announced roster moves on Tuesday.

Johnson signed with the Chiefs’ practice squad after he was released recently.

On Monday, it was announced that linebacker Derrick Johnson and defensive end Mike DeVito ruptured their Achilles tendons. Both are done for the season and were placed on the injured reserve list.
