An Opp teen who was missing over the weekend has returned to his family, according to his mother.

Holmes County, Fla., Sheriff’s Office was looking for an Opp teen, who ran away over the weekend.

Fifteen-year-old Joseph Mitchell Jackson traveled to Holmes County, to visit his girlfriend.

Jackson is a ninth grader at Opp High School.

Jackson’s mother, Sherry Bledsoe, said Monday her son paid someone to drop him off there.

“I have just been told that the girl is home safe and Joseph is home,” she said.
