Andalusia almost blew a 2-0 lead over Kinston, but won the tie breaker game in a 3-2 victory in regular-season volleyball action earlier tonight at KHS.

AHS won 25-22, 25-23, 14-25, 21-25, 15-8 in the teams’ second meeting of the season. Andy won the previous decision.

In other action, Straughn swept Geneva and Samson in a tri-match.

The Lady Tigers (8-0) defeated Geneva 2-1 (23-25, 25-10, 15-3) and Samson 2-0 (25-8, 25-18).
