COOKMAN

Mrs. Lillian Barnes Cookman, 95, of Dozier, passed away Sun., Sept. 28, 2014.

A memorial service will be held in Oak Grove Church at a later date.

Mrs. Cookman is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Frank Daugherty of Dozier; two sons and daughter-in-law, Ronald Barnes and Donald and Donna Barnes both of Dozier; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

ETHEL MAE GILMORE

Mrs. Ethel Mae Gilmore, 82, of Opp formerly of Clearview, died Sat., Sept. 27, 2014, at her residence.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tues., Sept. 30, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Derwood Cleland officiating. Interment will follow at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Gilmore was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Gilmore; son, Ronald Gilmore; daughter, Jeanette Jackson; granddaughter, Kathryn Bartley; grandsons, Frankie Hammett and Ashley Moore.

Mrs. Gilmore is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Mary Janice Baker of Andalusia, Myra Gilmore of Opp and Shania (Mike) Lunsford of Opp; sons and daughter-in-laws, Larry Gilmore of Colorado, Farrell (Teresa) Gilmore of Gantt, Billy (Kathy) Gilmore of Dozier and Kenneth Gilmore of Dozier; 24 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Mon., at Foreman’s and family will be receiving friends at her son’s home at 28025 Hwy. 29 North Andalusia.

 

THERESA ANN EDISON WISNER

Mrs. Theresa Ann Edison Wisner, 57, of Red Level, died Sat., Sept. 27, 2014, at her residence.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Wisner is survived by her husband, Tom Wisner; three sons, Lee Buice of Florida, Tommy Wisner of Georgia, and Joshua Wisner of Georgia; two daughters, Autumn Perry and Summer Buice both of Red Level; nine grandchildren; and three sisters, Libby Newsom, Suzette and Barbie Padgett.

NONA VIRGINIA DEAN

Mrs. Nona Virginia Dean, 80, of Red Level, passed away Fri., Sept. 26, 2014, at a Bonifay, Fla., nursing facility.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tues., Oct. 30, at Stone Lake Gardens. The Rev. John Eiland will be officiating. Keahey Funeral Home will be directing.

Mrs. Dean is survived by son, Rockford Dean of Red Level; brother, Stan Runion of New Port, Fla.; sister, Nancy Wade of Opp; and grandchild, Aaron Hunter Dean of Red Level.
