A two-vehicle crash Sunday, Oct. 5, claimed the life of an Andalusia woman.

Christine Barbaree, 79, was killed when the 2008 Ford Focus she was driving collided with a 2003 Ford F150. The driver and passenger in the F150 were both injured.

The crash occurred at 10:35 a.m. on U.S. 84 at the intersection of Bethel Road. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.

At approximately 10:37 a.m. a second crash occurred when a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was assisting at the crash scene. The pedestrian was injured.
