78-year-old held at gunpoint

Two Samson men are behind bars after they allegedly robbed a 78-year-old woman at gunpoint on Friday night.

Opp Police Chief Mike McDonald said in a release Wednesday that the victim, who is an Opp resident, who was at an automotive body and repair shop located at the 200 block of Hardin Street, was robbed by a masked gunman around 7 p.m., on Oct. 3.

McDonald said the investigation into the incident led officers to arrest Joshua Zane Jamar Parker, 23, of Samson, and Joshawn Alexander Milsap, 27, of Samson.

Both have been charged with robbery first-degree, and were booked into the Covington County Jail with bond set at $200,000 each.
