Opp High School homecoming activities begin today in preparation for the football game against Cottage Hill.

OHS will celebrate its homecoming pep rally at 10 a.m., and during the activities, the homecoming court will be recognized.

Additionally, there will be a presentation of $100 awards to students who earned a qualifying score in their Advanced Placement class(es) last year.

OHS teacher, Ronnie Moseley, said he has three students from his AP biology class who will receive the award.

The homecoming parade will begin at 2 p.m., and the route will pass through the downtown area.

Mayor John Bartholomew encourages those who attend the homecoming game to join in on the festivities at Opp Fest after the completion of the game.
