he Andalusia Termites are Super Bowl champions after defeating Evergreen 33-0 Saturday at Channell-Lee Stadium in Opp.

“It was a complete team effort, and everyone did their part in the win,” said Termite head coach Andy Faircloth. “Everyone played their hearts out, and we brought the trophy back to Andalusia to its rightful home.”

In other Super Bowl action the Andalusia Tinymites fell to Greenville 6-0 in three overtimes.

“We knew from previous games with Greenville that this would be another defensive game, and they scored on a 4th-and-13 play in the third overtime to beat us 6-0,” said Andalusia Tinymite head coach Michael Jackson.

The Tinymites played Greenville three times this season with the first game ending in a 0-0 tie. The second game Andalusia came out on top 7-0 and Greenville won the Super Bowl game 6-0.

Straughns’ Peewee team played Evergreen, but lost 40-0.
