The Pleasant Home Eagles (1-9) will travel to Samson Thursday night to take on the Tigers (2-8) in the final game of the season.

The Eagles are looking to rebound after a 62-14 defeat at the hands of Class 1A No. 1 Brantley.

“We are going to try and just out physical them, because they don’t have a lot of size but they have some quick guys,” said Eagles head coach Chris Mason. “We are going to try and establish the run, and we have to finish off drives without turning the ball over.”

They Eagles have their sights set on the Tigers this week in hopes of adding win number two on the year. The Eagles haven’t won a game since Aug. 22 when the defeated Zion Chapel 26-22.

“This is a huge game for us as to use as momentum to carry into the offseason, and we have nine seniors that want to go out on top,” said Mason. “ I want to see them go out with smile on their faces one more time.”

The Eagles and Tigers will kickoff at 7 p.m. Thursday night.
