The City of Andalusia will hold registration for youth basketball from Nov. 1-15 at Johnson Park from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day for children ages 5-12.

Birth certificates will be required if it’s the child’s first year participating. There is also a $35 fee for all players. Scholarships are available upon request and based on financial need.

Tryouts will be held Nov. 17, for 8 and under co-ed teams at 5:30 p.m. and 12 and under girls at 6:30 p.m.

Tryouts for the boys will be Nov. 18 at 5:30 p.m. for 10 and under and 7 p.m. for 12 and under.

Anyone interested in becoming a City of Andalusia Youth Basketball referee, scorebook keeper, or scoreboard keeper should go by Johnson Park or call Caitlin Shipman at 428-2106.
