The LAAC Gallery and Arts Center has a new name and a new sign.

Drivers traveling on East Three Notch Street recently watched as Tony Brown of Pirate Graphics attached the new sign he manufactured for the Lower Alabama Arts Coalition.

The name has changed to The Gallery, but it is still the LAAC.

“We hope that the new sign will be a reminder to those who already know us and serve as an introduction to those who don’t,” said Shelia Rhea. “Andalusia has a lovely art gallery promoting our local artists. It is called The Gallery. Please, come be a part.”
