Andalusia Youth Football will host the “Big Iron Bowl” Saturday at AHS

The Andalusia Youth Football program will host its first annual “Big Iron Bowl” Saturday at AHS beginning at 9 a.m.
The “Big Iron Bowl” will feature teams from different leagues that Andalusia doesn’t usually get to play. Andalusia, Red Level, Goshen, and Flomaton are the teams that will participate.
Andalusia’s Tiny Mites start the day off at 9 a.m. against Gohsen. The Andalusia Termites follow at 10:30 a.m. against Goshen, and Andalusia’s Peewee team will battle Goshen at 12 p.m.
The winner of the Tiny Mite game will play Red Level at 1:30 p.m. The winner of the Termite game will play Red Level at 3 p.m., and the winner of the Peewee game will play Flomaton at 4:30 p.m.
The winner of each championship game will get a trophy and a check for $500.
The “Big Iron Bowl” is sponsored by James O’brien of Big Iron and Zaxby’s is sponsoring the trophies, as well as providing food for the concessions.
