Iron Bowl is night game for first time since 2007

For the first time since 2007, the Iron Bowl will be a night game.

Alabama will host Auburn in a game scheduled for 6:45 p.m. CT on ESPN on Sat., Nov. 29.

CBS, with the first TV selection, picked Ole Miss-Mississippi State that weekend.

Alabama (8-1) defeated LSU in overtime Saturday night. The Tide takes on top-ranked Mississippi State (9-0) this week in a 2:30 p.m. game to be aired on CBS. The following week, the Tide plays Western Carolina, in a 3 p.m. game to be aired on the SEC Sports Network.

Auburn (7-2) fell to Texas A&M this past weekend. The Tigers are on the road against Georgia this weekend in a 6:15 p.m. game to be televised on ESPN.

The following week, the Tigers play Samford in a 6 p.m. game at home. That game will be televised on ESPNU.
