Goshen defeats Andy’s Termites, Peewees Saturday

The Goshen Termites defeated the Andalusia termites for a 14-13 victory during their first game Saturday.
Kaden Denson got the scoring starting for Andalusia, taking the game’s very first play 65 yards for a touchdown. The conversion attempt was no good.
Goshen’s first drive was halted, when Andalusia’s Travon Thomas intercepted a Goshen pass.
Bailey Faulkner added Andalusia’s second touchdown when he scored on a 1-yard touchdown run.
Andalusia began to drive down the field, but there just wasn’t enough time left on the clock. Andalusia ran out of time before they were able to score.
In other action, The Goshen Peewee team blanked Andalusia 32-0 to advance to the championship game against Flomaton.
It was a hard fought contest, but the Bulldogs just couldn’t get anything going against Goshen’s stingy defense.
Goshen’s Raquan Martin got the first score of the game on a 41-yard touchdown. The extra-point attempt failed.
Caleb Gamble tacked on a score from 5 yards out and added the conversion for a 14-0 lead.
Bryan Galloway showed off his arm, as he connected with Ra’Ja Moneyham for 42-yard touchdown pass for a 20-0 lead.
Andrew Gipson added a 22-yard touchdown run for a 26-0 advantage.
Galloway capped off the final drive of the game with an 18-yard touchdown run for the final score of 32-0.
