Wildcats 7th grade down Eagles 7th grade

The Florala Wildcats seventh grade boys downed the Pleasant Home Eagle seventh grade boys 25-8 Wednesday in Pleasant Home.

 

The Wildcats came out with a 9-8 halftime lead, and then shut out the Eagles in the second half.

 

“We are still trying to learn right now and improve each day,” Eagles’ head coach Troy Turman said. “A lot of these kids haven’t played before, but they are getting better each day, and I’m extremely proud of them.”

 

The Eagles were led by Brandon Douglas, who had 5 points. While, Charles Beck had 3 points for the Eagles.

 

The Wildcats were led by Lee Stewart with 14 points. Lee Stewart added 6 points for the Wildcats.

 

“I was really proud of the kids playing hard tonight against a good team,” Wildcats’ head coach Troy Stewart said. “I was glad we were able to come out with a win tonight.”
