The Andalusia 15-and-under All-Star soccer team will compete in Opelika this weekend, Nov. 15-16, for the 2014 15-and-under ARPA state soccer tournament.

 

Andalusia earned the opportunity to play for the state title by defeating Eufaula and Ashford in the district tournament.

 

They will be one of three teams competing for the state title. The other teams are Sylacauga and Eufaula.

 

Andalusia will face Sylacauga in game one of the tournament at 10 a.m., Saturday morning. The winner have an automatic spot in the championship game.

 

In the second game of the tournament, Andalusia will play Eufaula at 2 p.m., Saturday. Sylacauga and Eufaula will wrap up the first day of tournament at 6 p.m.

 

Sunday morning at 8 a.m. the winners of games two and three will play. The winner of that game will play the winner of game one at 1:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

 

The games will be played at the Opelika SportsPlex and Aquatics Center in the W. James Samford Jr. Soccer Complex.
