All of Andalusia Elementary School’s students were the special guests of the City of Andalusia at a made-for-the media snow event Thursday morning. The event, to which all area media were invited, was designed to get more publicity for the city’s Candyland theme and snow shows. Mayor Earl Johnson instructed the children to chant with him, “Let it Snow,” three times, and voila! There were snow flurries and squeals of delight from adults and children alike.

The Candyland playhouses will be open for imaginative play from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. tonight, and there will be a Snow Show at 6.
