The Andalusia Bulldogs’ B-team knocked off the T.R. Miller Tigers 38 -27 Saturday night in Andalusia.

 

The Bulldogs jumped out front 5-2 in the first few minutes of the game thanks to steals and scores from Zack Woods and Jaden Brown. The Tigers worked their way back to a 7-7 tie by the end of the first period. Quinton Stallworth also 2 points for the Bulldogs.

 

The Bulldogs’ defense stiffened in the second period, and the Tigers only managed 1 point.  Adam Peek gave the Bulldogs a 10-8 lead with a 3-pointer. Brown had 1 point for the Bulldogs to take an 11-8 lead into halftime.

 

In the third period, the Bulldogs turned it on and held a 25-11 lead going into the final period. R.J. Drish had a pair of buckets, and Woods 5 points. Curtis Daniels and Kendrick English had 2 points each.

 

Drish lit up the scoreboard with 6 points in the final period to give the Bulldogs a 38-27 victory. Peek knocked down another 3-pointer, and Brown added 2 more points to his total. DeQuan Cameron got his first 2 points of the night in the fourth period.

 

Drish led the Bulldogs with 10 points. Brown and Woods each finished the night with 7 points. Peek tallied 6 points in the contest.
