Singers and swing back on air

Published 11:23 pm Tuesday, February 10, 2015

I’m writing in response to the local cable company taking off the singers and swing music channel and replacing it with Mexican music. The elderly generation listens to singers and swing the music of the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s.

I don’t have anything against Mexican music, but they should have added it to the lineup, not replaced the singers and swing channel with it. iIcalled the cable company and they acted like they didn’t know anything about it. Maybeyou could find out why.

Thanks,

Joe Baugher

Editor’s note: Kudos to Ivan Bishop of Andy Cable. We inquired about this on Monday, and within 30 minutes, the channel had been restored to the Andy Cable lineup, and can be heard at 102.47 or 940. We printed this letter to say thanks to him, and to inform readers who aren’t aware of the more than 40 “listening” stations available.
