Temps to dip into 20s this week

While the weekend might have given locals a glimpse of spring, the groundhog did predict six more weeks of winter last week, and winter is almost upon us, again.

Today is expected to be sunny, but cooler with highs in the 50s, and the low dropping to the mid 30s.

Mother Nature will play tricks again as Wednesday is forecast to bring plenty of sunshine with highs in the mid-60s.

Still, an upper level trough of low pressure will send cold weather this way later in the week.

Thursday will bring highs in the 50s, with lows in the mid-20s, while Friday will be cold and windy and will barely hit 40.

Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be similar.

Forecasters predict no snow or ice for this system, though.
