Baumgartner and his wife, Kim, poked fun at buzzards “over the courthouse and roosting at city hall;” working with “pageant King Bill Alverson” to help their daughter win the Little Miss Mudslinger title; “rig wives” buying cars from Johnny Duggan and tricked-out mattresses from Mr. Matress while their husbands are working; and a burlap fire at this year’s Chamber of Commerce banquet, among other things.
