Frank Jackson State Park will host a ribbon cutting for new primitive campsites at the park on at 11 a.m. on Tues., Feb. 24.

The eight new primitive campsites are in a secluded area of the main campground. These campsites face Lake Jackson and have water and electric hookups and brand new picnic tables and fire rings.

The ribbon cutting will be at the western edge of the campground loop.
