OLIVIA ADELLE HUGHES

Miss Olivia Adelle Hughes, age 30, of Andalusia, died on Sat., March 7, 2015. Funeral services for Miss Hughes will be held on Sat., March 14, 2015, at 11 a.m. from Mt. Hermon Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.

Miss Hughes is survived by her father, Bobby Hughes of Wing; mother, Linda King Scofield of Smith Station; and sister, Brandie Nicole Jackson of Andalusia.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Shaun Hughes.

Visitation will today, Fri., March 13, from 5:30–8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

JUNE LOWMAN SASSER

Mrs. June Lowman Sasser, age 89, of Dozier, died at her home on Tues., March 10, 2015.

Beloved by her family, she was called “Mama June” by many others over the years, a reflection of the love and care she had given them while active in church and community work.

Funeral services were held on March 12 at the Dozier Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Dozier Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by her daughters and and son-in-law, Priscilla Kimbro of Dozier and Sherry and Harvey Watt of Enterprise; her grandchildren, Jeff (Kim) Kimbro of Gulf Shores, Kristie Watt and Wendi Watt of Montgomery; one great granddaughter, Chelsea Kimbro of Auburn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Willie Merrill “Tebe” Sasser; and a grandson, Benjamin Merrill Kimbro.
