CURTIS MERRL “LUCKY’ SCOTT

Mr. Curtis Merrl “Lucky” Scott, age 81, of Andalusia, passed away on Sun., March 15, 2015, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Tues., March 17, 2015, at the Keahey Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Durwood Cleland will be officiating. Interment will follow in the South Church of God with military honors and Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Survivors include life partner, Dorothy Duke Scott of Andalusia; step son, Maurice Barnett of Mississippi; step daughters, Scarlett Adams of Dothan, Melody Hatfield of Georgia, Sonya Martin of Bessemer and Cristy White of Andalusia; and several step grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Maurice Barnett, Reggie Davis, Daniel Adams, Roy Barnes, Keith Odom and Robert. Honorary pallbearers are Christy White and Kayla Adams.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice for their loving care.

Mr. Scott was an Army veteran and also collected and restored antique cars. He was an avid member of the local Andalusia Classics and Streetrods.
