Opening Day at Johnson Park

Baseball and softball teams from the City of Andalusia’s recreational leagues kicked off the 2015 season with an action-packed day this past Saturday at Johnson Park.

 

 

 

All teams were in action for opening day with 28 teams from four different age groups making up the baseball and softball leagues.

 

 

 

There were a total of 120 girls that were on the numerous softball and tee-ball teams. Two hundred twenty-eight boys were in action on the baseball side.

 

 

 

In the day’s most exciting match up, the Braves and the Angles met for a thrilling opening day game for the Miracle League of Andalusia.

 

 

 

There were numerous volunteers that helped out to make opening day a memorable event for all who participated and came out to enjoy the games.
