JEANETTE COOPER MCCART

Mrs. Jeanette Cooper McCart, 78, of River Falls, passed away on Sun., April 12, 2015, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, Wed., April 15, 2015, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Ganus and Rev. Billy Boles officiating. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today, Tues., April 14, at Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Raymond Lassiter of Andalusia; her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Donna McCart of Thomasville; grandchildren, Tammy (Doug) Whiddon, Chuck Lassiter, Russell (Jennifer) Lassiter; four great-grandchildren, David Whiddon, Noah Whiddon, Tanner Lassiter and Avery Lassiter; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Estelle and Bud Parker of Andalusia, and Bonnie Barfield of Irvington.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Bert McCart; and her son, Jerry McCart.

Pallbearers will be Doug Whiddon, David Whiddon, Russell Lassiter, Ray Bennett, Larry Gunter and Mark Gunter.

The family would like to thank Elizabeth Summers and Comfort Care Hospice for the care they showed during Mrs. McCart’s illness.

Mr. Jimmie Ray Morrison, 57, of Andalusia, passed away on Sun., April 12, 2015, in a Dothan Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Fri., April 17, 2015, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Morrison; his son, Justin L. Morrison; one daughter, Danielle K. Morrison; a step son, Thomas Kyle Sargent, all of Andalusia; his mother, Lillie Bell Golden Morrison of Wing; a sister, Donna Barnes; two brothers, Rick Morrison and Dennis Morrison; his grandchildren, Khloe Macer, Brooklyn Mariah Johnson and Alexa Sargent; and many nieces and nephews.

TOMMY LITTLE GLISSON

Mr. Tommy Little Glisson, 68, of Andalusia, passed away on Sun., April 12, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today, Tues., April 14, 2015, from the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Miller officiating and interment following in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held today from 1-3:30 p.m. at Foreman’s.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Mindell Glisson of Opp; daughter and son-in-law Tonya and Dwain Davis of Andalusia; three grandchildren, Sara Rebekah Glisson, Thomas Glisson and Bolton Davis; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Frank King of Andalusia; sisters-in-law, Margaret Turner of Mobile and Donna Glisson of Newnan, Ga.; brothers-in-law, Jimmy and Virginia Lowman of Andalusia, and Ben and Doris Lowman of Mobile; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Glisson; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Glisson; and his brother, Levon Glisson.

Mrs. Sarah Hanson Driver, 98, of Rose Hill, passed away peacefully on Fri., April 10, 2015, at Andalusia Regional Hospital, surrounded by family and friends.

Funeral services were held on Sun., April 12, 2015, from Good News Baptist Church, in Rose Hill, with the Rev. Jay Driver officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Audie and Randel Mikel of Andalusia; her grandchildren, Dwight and Barbara Mikel, Benji and Linda Mikel, Anthony and Amy Mikel, Rosemary and Jeff Mills, Jennifer and Neal King, Jerry and Melissa Hudson, Rene and Gabe Williams, Matt and Becca Grimes and Myron Grimes; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren,

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Driver; daughters and sons-in-law, Margie and Gerald Hudson and Martha and Billy Grimes; and a great-granddaughter, Hayley Elizabeth Mikel.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Anthony Mikel, Benji Mikel, Dwight Mikel, Jerry Hudson, Matt Grimes and Myron Grimes.

JAMES F. “FROSTY” COOK

Mr. James F. “Frosty” Cook, 92, of Opp, passed away Fri., April 10, 2015, at his residence.

Funeral services were held on Mon., April 13, 2015, in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Brent Cook officiated. Interment followed in Stone Lake Gardens with military honors from the United States Navy.

Survivors include a wife of 65 years, Clara Blair Cook of Opp; son, Ronald (JoAnn) Cook of Lakeland, Fla.; grandchildren, Brent (Mona) Cook, Brian Cook and Brad (Felicia) Cook; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover Cleveland and Laura Cook; five brothers; twin brother, John, Roy, Kermit, Ishmael and Grover; and one sister, Bessie.
