Former Georgia Bulldog David Andrews football career will continue into the NFL as the 6-foot-2 center signed as an undrafted free agent with the New England Patriots.

 

David is the son of Jeff Andrews, who was a 1976 graduate of Andalusia High School.

 

His grandparents, James and Era Andrews, live in Andalusia.

 

David was one of the first undrafted free agents to sign with a team this season.

 

He is typically characterized as undersized, at just 294 pounds, but has been labeled as an athletic center that rarely allows anyone by him.

 

In his final two seasons with the Bulldogs, Davis didn’t allow a single sack.
