Michael and Kandise Finley and Michelle Sanford of Andalusia announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristen Nicole Finley, to Timothy Ian Cooper, son of Janet and Timothy Cooper of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Cheryl Finley and the late Ken Finley of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; Glendora and Dwan Smith of Crestview, Fla.; the late Patricia Joyner of Florala, ; and John P. and Patricia Maddox of the Red Oak Community. She is the great-granddaughter of Rebecca Maddox and the late Warren S. Maddox of the Red Oak Community.

She is a 2010 graduate of Andalusia High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Troy University.

She is currently employed at Andalusia Regional Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit as a registered nurse.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Margaret and Charlie Smithwick of Andalusia, the late Glendora and Sam Cooper Jr.; and Harold and Brenda Fuqua of Andalusia.

He is a 2009 graduate of Taylor Road Academy and earned a welding degree from Lurleen B. Wallace Community College.

He is currently employed with Pipefitters Local Union 52 of Montgomery.

The wedding will take place on Oct.17, 2015, at New Hope Independent Baptist Church in Red Level.
