The Trent Taylor era of Andalusia football is set to begin, and the Bulldogs will have to work through a tough schedule in 2015.
On Aug. 21, the Bulldogs will open up the season with a quick trip to Brewton to take on T.R. Miller. Miller knocked off Andalusia in game one last season 38-15 on their way to a 10-2 season.
Following the road game in week one, the Bulldogs will come back home for a three-week stretch.
Things don’t get much easier for the Bulldogs in week two when UMS-Wright comes to Andalusia for what will surely be a dogfight.
Week three the Bulldogs will square off with Trinity Presbyterian for the first region game of the season.
On Sept. 11, the Bulldogs will take on region opponent Ashford at home before going on the road the following three weeks.
The Bulldogs will travel to Montgomery on Sept. 18 to take on St. James in a region match up.
The following week the Bulldogs will take a short trip down HWY. 84 to take on county rival Opp in a non-region game to close out the month of September.
Opening up the final month of the regular season, the Bulldogs will travel to Bullock County on Oct. 2 for a region contest against Bullock County High School.
On Oct. 9, the Bulldogs will be back in action at home against region-opponent Headland. The game against Headland will also be the Bulldogs’ homecoming game.
The following week the Bulldogs will make one final regular season road trip, when they travel to Montgomery to take on region-opponent Montgomery Catholic.
For the final game of the regular season, the Bulldogs will face region and county rival Straughn at home on Oct. 23 for what could be an extremely important game for both teams.
