Antonio and Daisy Wesley Lindsey and Douglas and Dianne Walker, of Mobile and Andalusia respectively, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Synethia “Shae” Walker of Brewton to William Chris Hines of Evergreen.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Robert and Martha Wesley and Pink Jackson Autrey and Lewis Thomas Walker.

She is a 2006 graduate of T.R. Miller High School.

She earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Alabama.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Edna Nelson and the late Charles Nelson.

He is a graduate of Hillcrest High School and earned a bachelor of arts in human environmental science and business administration from the University of Alabama, where he played basketball. The groom also plays basketball abroad.

The wedding will take place May 30, at 5:30 p.m., at the Country Club of Brewton.
