Andalusia’s Will Clark helped lead his travel ball team the Triton Rays Navy 16U team to a 9-5 victory over the Diamonds Baseball Club Saturday at the Perfect Game Baseball invitational in Emerson, GA.

 

The Rays are a travel ball team based out of Montgomery, and they field several teams from 8U all the way up to 17U.

 

This past weekend’s tournament included 126 teams from all over that country.

 

Clark and the Rays picked up one win in four games, and in the win Clark went 1-for-3 driving in two runs. Clark also scored a run and drew two walks.

 

In a 7-0 loss to Team Elite West 16U, Clark showed patience at the plate drawing three walks in three plate appearances.

 

The Ray’s next tournament will be the East Coast Invitational at the University of South Alabama in Mobile on June 12-14.
