GLINDA K. HENLEY

Mrs. Glinda K. Henley, 81, of Andalusia, passed away on Sat., June 13, 2015, at the Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services were held on Mon., June 15, 2015, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Bell officiated. Burial followed in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include sons, Harvey Alan Bond of Comer and Dennis Wade (Mary Leah) Bond of Red Level; daughters, Debra (Danny) Scofield of Caroline County and Sara E. (Donald) Hurst of Rockhill, S.C.; brother, Stanley (Shirley) Keirce of Tallahassee, Fla.; grandchildren, Jonathan (Rachel) Williams, Nicholas (Shelby) Williams, Jessica (Travis) Golden, Nichole (Patrick) Isemann and Matthew (Cortlin) Bond.

Mrs. Henley was preceded in death by her husband.

CINDY WILSON

Ms. Cindy Wilson, 53, passed away on Sat., June 13, 2015, in a Panama City Health Facility.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, Tues., June 16, 2015, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include several nephews and a host of cousins.

HARRIET PHILYAW

Mrs. Harriet Philyaw, 53, of Andalusia, passed away on Sun., June 14, 2015, at Andalusia Regional.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thurs., June 18, 2015, in the West Highland Assembly of God.

Pastor Eddie Gossett will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Adellum Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. tomorrow, Wed., June 17, 2015, at Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include a husband, Ronald Philyaw of Andalusia; mother, Irene Helmick of Andalusia; daughters, Jennifer (Adam) Fowler of Red Level and Kelly (David) King of Wing; brothers, Ervin Glen Helmick III of Ponce de Leon, Donald Roy Hasiak of Oregon and Harry Guy Helmick of North Carolina; sisters, Karen Stone of Tennessee and Carol Ann Casteel of Mississippi; granchildren, Ashley Haymons, Andrew Haymons, Audrey Fowler, Wyatt Fowler and Elijah Fowler.

NEVA POWELL CARTER

Neva Powell Carter entered into eternal rest on Sun., June 14, 2015, at Hosparus in Louisville, Ky.

Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, “Mom Mom” delighted in spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren, Evan, Olivia, James Kyler and Preston.

Born on March 25, 1928, in Sanford, Neva, her husband Ralph, and their children lived in Andalusia for many years. The Carter family moved to Winter Park, Fla. in 1969.

Neva taught school for several years in the Seminole County School district. Before taking up residence at Friendship Manor in PeWee Valley in March, she lived at the Oaks in LaGrange, where she was very happy.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Ralph Carter.

Left to cherish her in memories are her three children and their spouses, Alan and Judy Carter of Crestwood, Ky., Beckie and Bob Archie of Oviedo, Fla. and Teri and Chris Carter of Apopka, Fla.; her two grandsons and their spouses, Bill and Maegan Carter of LaGrange, Ky. and Bryant and Ashley Carter of Winter Springs, Fla.; two granddaughters, Tara Carter of LaGrange and Laney Carter of Apopka; and twin grandsons, Jackson and Grayson Carter of Apopka.

Visitation will be held tomorrow, Wed., June 17, 2015, at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home in LaGrange from 5-7 p.m. Chapel services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thurs., June 18, 2015, at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and the breast Cancer Society.

MARK ANTHONY STUART

Mr. Mark Anthony Stuart, 45, of Andalusia, passed away on Sat., June 13, 2015, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow, Wed., June 17, 2015, at the home of Mark Stuart at 19887 Airport Rd. Andalusia, Al. 36420.

Survivors include fiancée, Tina Stafford of Andalusia; second mother, Corrine Sasser of Andalusia; daughters, Ashlee (Kenneth) Haught of Frostburg, Md., Lenora (Shawn) Enders of Andalusia and Nikki Owens of Andalusia; brothers, Michael (Angela) Colburn or Meridian, Miss. and Randy Sasser of Andalusia; sisters, Cindy Davis of Opp and Menette Powell of Andalusia; and grandchildren, Donna Marie Guillotte of Andalusia, Mimi Charlotte Harper and Poppie Carl Harper of Adel, Ga.
