Campers listen to their instructions and Thursday’s tennis camp.

There are just two weeks remaining in the Andalusia Tennis Associations summer tennis camp held at LBW.

Participants of the camp have enjoyed several weeks of learning a lot about the ins-and-outs of tennis.

They have spent time learning the proper mechanics of hitting serves, forehand and backhand shots. The participants are also being taught how to keep score, and other rules of the game.

Participants have also enjoyed several games that not only provide for a little bit of fun, but are also designed to help teach things about the game.

At the end of camp, the participants will all play in a tournament to see who is top camper.

“It has been a great camp so far,” ATA president John Vick said. “Students may still come out here and sign up for the last two weeks.”

Vick said students signing up for the last two weeks, may do so at a reduced rate.
