Mr. and Mrs. Gregory James Krems of Colorado Springs, Colo., are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Savannah Jane Szabo, to Spencer Paulk Youmans, son of Donna Youmans and the late Ferris Paulk “Butch” Youmans of Opp.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Sharon Roth and the late Terrance Roth of Sandusky, Ohio, and Mr. and Mrs. James Frederick Krems of Steven’s Point, Wis.

She is a graduate of Byron P. Steele II High School in Cibolo, Texas, and received her bachelor of arts degree in English at Auburn University Montgomery in 2014.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Frances Prater and the late Gaston Prater and Mr. and Mrs. Ferris Youmans and the late Lucile Paulk Youmans all of Opp.

He is a graduate of Opp High School and received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice and public safety from Auburn University Montgomery in 2014.

He is currently employed as a police officer for the City of Opp and will continue his master of science in criminal justice program.

The couple will unite in marriage on Sat., Aug. 1, 2015, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Enterprise, at 2:30 in the afternoon.

Reception at The Rawls will follow the ceremony.
