Plans are under way for the fifth annual Crossover Auction, to be held Aug. 1, at the Grace Building of Opp First United Methodist Church.
Becky Livingston of Crossover Ministry said doors will open at 4:30 p.m., for participants to view auction items.
Hamburgers and hot dogs may be purchased beginning at 5 p.m.
The auction will begin at 6 p.m.
Those who wish to donate items for the auction should take them to Crossover Ministry located at 508 Highway 52 East in Opp.
“We really need used furniture, antiques anything,” Livingston said. “We are also asking businesses to donate gift cards as well.”
Help with larger items can be arranged by calling Crossover at 493-1030 to arrange a pick up time, she said.
Mark Kyser will serve as auctioneer once again.
The mission of Crossover Ministry is to provide a Christian recovery solution for substance abuse and addiction through the use of education, work, counseling, partnering with churches and the knowledge of Jesus Christ; that will help people rebuild their lives and their communities.
“This is always one of our biggest fundraisers,” Livingston said. “We would like for everyone to come out.”
