JOHN REUBEN PAULK

Mr. John Reuben Paulk, 88, of Red Level, passed away on Tues., July 14, 2015, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow, Sat., July 18, from Fairmount Baptist Church with his son, Ronald Paulk officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to services.

He is survived by four sons, Kenneth R. Paulk of Ft. Deposit, Ronald D. Paulk of Ft. Deposit, John L. Paulk of Ft. Deposit and William A. Paulk of Selma; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by parents, Dock and Minnie Paulk; sister, Myrtle White; and brother, Clarence Paulk.

Pallbearers (grandsons) will include John K. Paulk, William Paulk, Brett Paulk, Daniel Paulk, Cory Paulk, Daniel Paulk and Brian Paulk.

SHIRLEY RAY SIGHTLER

Mr. Shirley Ray Sightler, 96, of the Red Oak community, passed away on Wed., July 15, 2015, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, Fri., July 17, 2015, from Red Oak Baptist Church with Brother Mark Perry officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Sightler was a highly respected member of the community, where he had farmed his entire life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, square dancing, card playing and dominos; where he had many special friends that he had enjoyed for many years.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Roger R. and Faye Sightler of Andalusia; daughter and son-in-law, June and Frazier Jackson of Andalusia; five grandchildren, Christopher (Shannon) Jackson, Felicia (Terry) Ganous, Ryan (Katie) Jackson, Justin (Sarah) Sightler and Cole (Alison) Sightler; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will include Chris Jackson, Terry Ganous, Ryan Jackson, Justin Sightler, Will Jackson,and Ben Jackson.
